Finally, I can share the good news!

My sister and her husband have adopted a boy.  He’’s beautiful. I got to see him at Easter.. the adoption was finalized this morning so I can now talk about it!   This is their second adoption, and our family has learned the joys and extreme pain that are the adoption process.  They have been on the verge of adopting 5 times now.   The last time the baby actually came home with them for 4 days but then the mother changed her mind.   To all birth parents who give chidren over to others to care for and love…thank you…….you are so couragous.  To those that adopt and open their hearts to a child who needs love….thank you!   I’m feeling like life is sooo good today!

    Hi Mitzi!

Tell your sister congratulations for me! I know the rollercoaster of emotions that you go through while adopting a child. I’m very happy for her. My husband and I are also staring the adoption process again after Christmas this year. We have an (adopted) two year old boy…what a job!!!! LOL, but well worth it!

I will pass along your good wishes Marcia. Thank you! You are so right about that rollercoaster. All adoptive parents are courageous. To know that your heart my be broken today or anyday before the 90 day wiaitng period is up is the ultimate test of faith and love. All the best to you and your husband. I’m so happy that Cyndy has shared her adoption”story” with all of us. It shows how the love of birth parents combined with the love of the adoptive parents make for a very fortunate child! Everyone who reads this whisper a little prayer for Marcia if you would. Mitzi

Aunt Mitzi !!! Awwww That is WONDERFUL NEWS… Congratulations to your entire family.

My brother has two adopted children from Guatamala. One boy, One girl.

I don’t know the adoption process at all.. I do know that my brother waited for a long time for these kids. They are the apple of his eye.

To the parent(s) who decide to have their children adopted out, you couldn’t have made a better decision.. To the children who have been adopted.. you may not know how lucky you truly are… To the parents who are adopted by the childre as Mom & Dad.. love them all you can.

Such wonderful news, Mitzi.. I’m so happy for you all.
