Like you Mitzi, I "talk" to my Dad occasionally too. Although he passed away in February 2006, it seems as though it was yesterday, and I miss him tremendously. He too provided me with the many things you mention, a college education, my first car (a '78 Camaro...no, it wasn't orange), and other material things. He bestowed on me many great traits that he possessed, and I'm proud to be able to say that I turned out just like him. I want my 2 kids to value and appreciate me as a Dad as much as I always will value my time with my Dad, and I'm convinced they will. Being a Dad is wonderful, and I do think that we're often under-appreciated. Happy Father's Day Dad, and thank you!
