Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus! As far as if it were my friend - she is my friend, no matter what - however, all the lying and deceit that goes with an affair - I guess it would put a big strain on our relationship. I am too honest with everyone to be put in that position - I wouldn't be able to hold my tongue! Neither to her or to anyone else involved. In other words - she would probably want to aviod me!!! A woman I think, thinks about the emotional backlash to all concerned and then it eats at her untill she thinks she has to try and resolve it some way. Personally, I think I would feel a bit awkward because this would be something I would not expect from a best friend. I guess I expect my friends to be like me, loyal, honest and forthright. But, honestly, we are all human and have needs that when not met, we sometimes look for them elsewhere. It would change the dynamics of our relationship.
