    when i was a kid

I don’t remeber Bobby Sherman, but I do remember when Rod Stewart sang “Do you think I’m sexy…and yes he was! Mitzi…I’ll have to google Bobby Sherman.

  2. Kristi Says:

Has to be Michael Landon. I loved him in Bonanza, Little House, and Highway to Heaven.

Kristi, I have to agree he was cute! Mitzi

  3. Zack Says:

Ok, I possibly had the most bizarre and odd crush as a kid. I had a crush on Lucy from The Peanuts. I think I was attracted to her mean streak toward Charlie Brown lol.

Zack, That’s makes me wonder all sorts of things about you! But, I always felt that under her tough exterior Lucy really was a sweet girl. Thanks for your great answer! Mitzi

  4. Loree Says:

I had lots of them…I was extremely fickle!!!

One of the first, was on the Mickey Mouse Club…the Adventures of Spin & Marty - and Tim Considine was Spin. OMG I had such a crush. Then - of course, Moondoggie (JAmes Darren) from the Gidget movies and Frankie Avalon from the Beach Party movies with Annette Funicello.

Who can forget David Cassidy on Partridge Family, Bobby Sherman from American Bandstand & Shindig - of course, most of you don’t even remember the 60’s!!!

The Beatles - all of them!!! But, Paul was the fav!

And always and forever, I will have a huge crush on Paul Newman. The original hunk.

  5. Kristi Says:

You don’t remember Bobby Sherman! He was on Here Come the Brides. David Soul played his brother. Which reminds me of another crush. Paul Michael Glaser. He was hot on Starsky & Hutch.

Okay Kristi, I googled Bobby Sherman…and you are so right! Wow! Mitzi

David Cassidy from the partridge family, my biggest crush was on Lee Horsley who played Matt Houston…then there where those Dukes of Hazzard boys…OH the list goes on….I must of been hormonal at that time in my life with all these crushes!!!!

Mary, I’m with you. I think I had a crush on every boy on TV! That would include every boyfriend that Mary Tyler Moore ever had when she trying to make it on her own! ….I thought Rhodas boyfriend/hubby was cute too! Mitzi

Mitzi..this is Mary from above July 24th…I had to blog again and tell you that I was showing your blog question to my 19 year old son and he was reading what the other people wrote on the crushes and he read mine, he asked me ” who where these people who you had crushes on, I never heard of these shows”! I felt so OLD! you forget that these young kids never heard of Matt Houston, or who the Monkeys where….it kind of freaked me out, I never stopped to think about it, my two older sons would of known some of the shows,,but I forgot my youngest would not know……I hate getting old!!!!!!

  8. Supersistergirl Says:

This is only 1/4 my list! Guess I didn’t have much to do except babysit and watch TV:

    -Tom Selleck as Magnum PI
    -BOTH Hardy Boys! (why choose?)
-Shirley’s dancer boyfriend on Laverne and Shirley
-Tom Hanks on Bosom Buddies…when he wasn’t in drag (though he actually did have a pretty face for makeup)!
-Michael J. Fox on Family Ties
-Here’s a real obscure one for you, Mitzi,…Mark Harmon and Matthew Perry’s dad, John Bennett Perry..as EMTs on “240 Robert”. It was on for all of 30 seconds, then Mark moved on to some nighttime soap. Go ahead, its a quick Google.

Finally, will anyone besides me admit to crushing on Uncle Jessie on “Full House”?

Thanks, I will have to check out John Bennet Perry! Magnum PI…oh yes…cute and oh so cool! Mitzi

Oh my I remember the days of sitting on the front porch when my new “16 Magizine” was due to arrive waiting for the mailman. I couldnt wait to see who’s picture I was going to tape to my wall (oops bad on the paint & drywall when I wanted to change pictures). I always hoped it was going to be “BOBBY SHERMAN” or David Cassidy or Mickey Yorky or Donny Osmund. Donny was a tad bit young but he was still cute. Then when I graduated from “16 Magizine” to other Big Girl Magizines, it was Lee Horsely, Michael Landon, John Travolta, and oh my Richard Gere in “Officer and a Gentleman” which I have seen so many times I have lost count. Just like “Top Gun”, I would think if I could only reach through the TV and grab those guns ETC and not the machine guns. I have come across some of those “16 Magizines” here and there and laugh at all the pictures I cut out of them. Just like I looking through my old 45’s and albums. Wow the Good Ole Days in so many ways, like the “Dime Stores” now we have “Dollar Stores”. Fun Blog Mitzi brought some good laughs and fun memories !!!!

Heres an oldie. When I was probably 14 I saw Marlon Brando in “The Wild One” I had a HUGE crush.
I thought he was so cool.

Another great love was Paul Newman.

I remember watching “Bye Bye Birdie” and beleive it or not, I thought Bobby Rydell was sooooo cute.

Over the years there have been so many, many great looking guys!!!!!!!!!

Matthew McConaughey really does it for me! Those blue eyes……….even though I’m a little too old for him, he still gets my vote!
